The JFK Medical Center is a 486-bed facility located in Atlantis, Florida. It has over 500 physicians, 2200 healthcare professionals and 300 volunteers. It specializes in cardiovascular care.

The former West Palm Beach Hospital became JFK North Medical Center. It specializes in psychiatric and orthopedic care.

History[]

The hospital was founded in 1966 as a community hospital and a memorial to President John F. Kennedy.

As a teaching affiliate of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, the hospital is a major training site for students studying in the University's MD/MPH program.[1] In addition, the hospital is home to ACGME accredited residencies in Internal Medicine and General Surgery.[2]
