Jabbar Raisani

Jabbar Raisani is an American director and visual effects supervisor based in Los Angeles who worked on the special effects of the first Iron Man movie and was a visual effects supervisor on The Flash and Stranger Things. He won Emmy Awards in 2013 and in 2015 for his work on Game of Thrones.[1]

In 2014, Raisani made his directorial debut with Alien Outpost.[2] He went on to direct episodes of Lost in Space and Avatar: The Last Airbender.[3]

Career[]

Raisani started his career when he was 17 at a visual effects studio in San Antonio, Texas. In 2004, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked at Stan Winston Studio as a CG Supervisor on projects like Iron Man and Fantastic 4.[4]

He later was a visual effects supervisor for Robert Rodriguez on films like Machete and Predators. He also supervised the digital modeling of Superman's live-action suit for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.[5]
