John William Gallon (12 February 1914 – 1993) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward.

Career[]

Born in Burradon, Gallon played for Bedlington United, Bradford City, Bradford Park Avenue, Swansea Town, Gateshead and North Shields.[2][3] For Bradford City he made 20 appearances in the Football League; he also made one appearance in the FA Cup.[4] During World War II he played as a guest for Port Vale, Hartlepool United, Manchester United, Rochdale, Stockport County, Walsall, Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City, Bristol City, Gateshead, and Burnley.[5]
