The jaggedhead gurnard (Gargariscus prionocephalus) is a species of armored searobin native to the eastern Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. This species is a deep-water species found down to 304 m (997 ft) on the continental shelf. This species grows to a length of 30 cm (12 in). It is the only known member of its genus.[1]
