Jago Grahak Jago (transl. Wake Up Customer) is a consumer awareness program launched in 2005 by the Department of Food under the government of India. As part of this initiative, the government has used channels to create consumer awareness through printings, media advertisements, posters, audio campaigns, and video campaigns for consumer information and education about initiatives like the Insurance Ombudsman channel. This program will help Indian consumers to know about their consumer rights and about their duties as consumers.
