James St John Jeffereyes, LLD (1734-1780) was an Irish politician. He was the son of James Jeffereyes of Blarney Castle and his first wife Louisa Colman.

Jeffereyes was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.[1] He was MP for Midleton in County Cork from 1758 to 1776; and for Randalstown in County Antrim from 1776 to 1781.[2]

He married Arabella Fitzgibbon, sister of John FitzGibbon, 1st Earl of Clare. They had one son, George, and four daughters, including Mary Anne, whose first marriage to George Nugent, 7th Earl of Westmeath ended in a scandalous divorce in 1796. He was a man of considerable wealth, although his widow after his death found herself in some financial distress.
