Jamia Faiz–e-Aam (الجامعة الإسلامية فيض عام)' is a well-known, central, ancient and Islamic Jamia of India, located in the industrial city of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
History[]
Jamia Islamia Faiz-e-Aam was established in 1902 by Islamic scholar Abdullah Ghazipuri, who also inaugurated the educational activities. Mohammad Ahmad, a student of Syed Nazeer Husain, was among the early teachers appointed.
Madrasa Faiz-e-Aam consisted of a few rooms in its early days. It developed into a large Jamia and is a center of Arabic language, literature, and modern education along with Islamic education. It occupies a multi-story building with 98 rooms that can accommodate 81 teachers and employees, and 2098 boy and girl students.
This Jamia has three main branches: Madrasa Faiz-e-Aam, Madrasa Faiz-e-Aam Niswan (Girls), and Faiz-e-Aam girls school, and two sub-branches. Apart from primary level education, there is also the full facility of teaching courses like Almiyat, Fazilat, and board courses such as Munshi, Kamil, Maulvi, Alim, and Fazil. Along with various educational and Daawati activities, a student union promotes their abilities in the spoken and written fields. It has a library and publishes an annual magazine Faizan.

Jamia Islamia Faiz-e-Aam is affiliated with Arabic universities such as the University of Medina, the Umm al-Qura University, the King Saud University, and the Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. It is also affiliated with Jamia Hamdard and the Jawaharlal Nehru University in India.[1]

This Jamia has consistently retained able and expert teachers. Students from other Indian states including Bihar, Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Gujrat, and Andhra Pradesh are involved in the activities like teaching, research, and authorship. No other madrasa or Islamic institute of India appoints Faizi Ulama or teachers.
