James Edward Costa (born May 12, 1990) is an American actor, producer, and voice over artist.

Early life[]

Jamie Costa was born on May 12, 1990, and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended private Christian schools up until high school when he was sent to a military boarding school in V.A. where he ended up graduating highest-ranking cadet.[1] He briefly attended college at The Citadel and eventually ended up studying theatre at North Greenville University in South Carolina. He took a semester to study film in Los Angeles [2] then finally graduated in December 2013.[3]

Career[]

Early in his career he gained much attention online for his impressions. Most notably Robin Williams,[4] Ian McKellen, and Harrison Ford.[5]

In July 2015, Jamie moved to LA to continue his career in acting and filmmaking and has since appeared in various film and television projects both on screen and as a Voice over artist.

He has appeared in many high quality fan projects and has also produced and acted in multiple Star Wars, "Fan films"[6] hosted on his YouTube channel that have been well received both by filmmakers and fans alike with generous views on each.

Though once very active on social media he has now stepped away from it as of 2020. He is also an accomplished commercial producer having produced (and acted in) numerous commercials for the men's grooming company Manscaped.

He credits his acting coach Myra Turley for helping him develop into a working actor.[7] He continues to work on passion projects and establish himself in the industry.
