Janice Ellen Stead MNZM (born 1 November 1939) is a former New Zealand Test cricketer. She played nine Tests for her country between 1966 and 1972. A right-handed batsman, her best score was 95, scored against Australia in 1971–72.[3]

In the 2021 Birthday Honours, Stead was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to sport and the community.[4]
