Jarabina, also known as Orjabyna (Ukrainian/Rusyn: Орябина; Hungarian: Berkenyéd) is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia.

U.S. Marine Michael Strank, Flag Raiser at Iwo Jima, was born here.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1329.

Geography[]

The municipality lies at an altitude of 587 metres and covers an area of 22.896 km². It has a population of about 844 people.
