Jeff Manookian
Jeff Manookian (November 24, 1953 – July 10, 2021) was an American pianist, composer, and conductor from Salt Lake City, Utah.[1][2]
Manookian shared 1st prize in the 2017 International Piano Competition of the World Piano Teachers Association.[3] He has been a recipient of commissions by the Barlow Endowment of Brigham Young University,[4][5] the Abramyan String Quartet[6] and the National Endowment for the Arts[7]
Manookian has been Music Director of the Theatre Orchestra of Tucumán (Argentina),[8] Intermountain Classical Orchestra (Salt Lake City, Utah),[9] University of Utah Summer Arts Orchestra,[10] Westminster Chamber Orchestra (Salt Lake City, Utah),[11] and Artistic Director of the Oratorio Society of Utah (USA).[12]
