Jesús Emilio Martínez Álvarez (born 18 September 1944 in Oaxaca) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Citizens' Movement (formerly to the Institutional Revolutionary Party). He was interim Governor of Oaxaca from 1985 to 1986 and previously served as Mayor of Oaxaca, Oaxaca from 1978 to 1980.
He also has served as Deputy of the LIX Legislature of the Mexican Congress as a plurinominal representative.[1]
