Jesus Sanz Montes (born 18 January 1955) is a Spanish Roman Catholic prelate and Franciscan friar who has been Archbishop of Oviedo since 2010. He replaced Mgr Carlos Osoro Sierra who has been Archbishop of Valencia at 2009.

Early life[]

Born in the city of Madrid, Montes studied economic and working in a bank in his town before joining the Franciscan order.
