Jessica Karjala (born November 17, 1965) is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing the 48th district.[2][3]

Political career[]

Karjala was elected to represent District 48 in the Montana House of Representatives in 2014 when she unseated an incumbent Republican from the seat. She ran for reelection in 2016, 2018, and 2020 holding the seat all 4 election cycles after flipping it and is now serving her fourth and final term in the Montana House of Representatives. [4]

Karjala served as vice chair of House Human Services Committee in 2017, 2019 and 2021. She has served on the State Administration and Veterans Affairs Committee for four sessions.[5]
