João Lucas de Almeida Carvalho (born 9 March 1998), commonly known as João Lucas, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays as a Right back for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Cuiabá.

Bangu[]
João Lucas started his professional career in 2019 at Bangu, he played eight matches in the Campeonato Carioca and called the attention of some bigger clubs.
Flamengo[]
On 9 May 2019 Flamengo signed João Lucas from Bangu for an undisclosed fee.[1][2]
Cuiabá (loan)[]
On 4 May 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A newly promoted Cuiabá signed João Lucas from Flamengo on a loan deal until 31 December 2021.[3]
