Jodi Cilley is a college professor, producer and founder of the Film Consortium San Diego and annual San Diego Film Awards.[1][2][3][4] She was born and raised in Barre, Vermont and in 1999, she graduated from Boston College with a BA in Sociology. In 2010, she finished her MBA in Business Administration-Entrepreneurship at San Diego State University. As an instructor at Platt College, San Diego City College, UCSD, and Media Arts Center San Diego, Jodi has helped students in the production of over 40 short documentaries, 30 short films, and a variety of other film projects.[5][6][7][8]

In 2017, Cilley founded the inaugural San Diego Film Week: a 10-day event of screenings that partnered with numerous local festivals including the San Diego Film Festival and the San Diego Asian Film Festival.[9]
