Joseph "Joe" Allen Tate[1] is an American politician from Michigan. Tate is a Democratic member of Michigan House of Representatives from District 2.

Early life[]

Tate was born in Detroit, Michigan.[2]

Career[]

In 2004, Tate became an Offensive Lineman for National Football League. Tate served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. In 2017, Tate became a program manager at Detroit Economic Growth Corporation. On November 6, 2018, Tate won the election and became a member of Michigan House of Representatives for District 2.[2]
