Johan Hallgren (born 13 April 1975) is a Swedish musician. He is the guitarist and backing vocalist in the Swedish progressive rock band Pain of Salvation.
Johan announced in the official Pain of Salvation site that he left the band to focus on his family after the European tour with Opeth.[1] On 1 May 2017 Pain of Salvation announced the return of Hallgren to the band, replacing Ragnar Zolberg.[2]
