John Goldsmith (1 April 1766 – 15 March 1845) was an English first-class cricketer who was active in the 1790s playing for Surrey. He is recorded in one first-class match in 1792, totalling 11 runs with a highest score of 8.[1]
Although he played for Surrey, Goldsmith was a native of Hambledon, Hampshire, where he was born and died. His uncle was the Hambledon Club player Peter Stewart.[1]
