John Nagenda (born 25 April 1938) is a former cricketer who played one One Day International in the 1975 World Cup for East Africa.[1] He appeared in one first-class cricket match in England in 1975, and played cricket for Uganda. As a writer of fiction and poetry in the 1960s, he is regarded as having been one of the pioneers of writing in East Africa.[2]
John Nagenda is also a Senior Media Advisor to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda.[3] His book One Man's Week: Unreserved Wisdom was published in 2019.[4]
