John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics

The John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics (HIHG) was established at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami in January 2007 to discover the genetic influences on human health and apply this knowledge to medical practice. It is listed as one of the top 20 genome centres by DNA sequencing capacity.[1] It is named after hedge fund owner, John Hussman.[2]
