Jonathan Carney is a violinist, violist, and conductor. Carney studied at the Juilliard School with Christine Dethier and Ivan Galamian.

Career[]

He then moved to London on a Leverhulme Fellowship Award to study at the Royal College of Music with Trevor Williams.[1][2][3][4]

Carney grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey[5] and graduated from Tenafly High School.[6]"THS has also nurtured future stars from other areas of the performance world, including Baltimore Symphony concertmaster Jonathan Carney, stage designer James Youmans and actor, writer and longtime radio host Claude Knobler.
