Jonathan Littman (born 1962/1963) is an American producer who serves as president of Jerry Bruckheimer Television.[2]
Biography[]
Littman was born in 1963, the son of Dr. Harold Littman and Annette Littman and raised in West Orange, New Jersey.[1] He is a graduate of Vassar College.[1][3] Littman began his TV career in daytime programming at NBC in 1989 working on both soap operas and game shows. In 1991 he moved to Fox Broadcasting in Current Programs overseeing such seminal series as BEVERLY HILLS, 9021, MELROSE PLACE and THE X-FILES eventually being promoted to vice president of dramatic series development at the Fox Broadcasting Company.[1] In 1997 he left Fox to start Jerry Bruckheimer Television and is currently its CEO. JBTV has grown to be one of the most successful television companies in history. To date the company has produced just under 2000 episodes of episodic television and some of TV most iconic hits. CSI, CSI: MIAMI, CSI: NY, 10 time Emmy winning THE AMAZING RACE, COLD CASE, WITHOUT A TRACE, LUCIFER, HIGHTOWN, to name just a few. As of 2017, he has received 18 nominations and won 10 Emmy Awards.[4]
In 1996, he married Nancy Jill Goldman, with whom he attended high school, at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles.[1] and is father to three daughters.
