Josiah Makoela (born [1] is a South African DJ and record producer commonly known as Josiah De Disciple, he is best known for his time with the Amapiano pioneering DJ duo, JazziDisciples.[2]
July 3, 1991),Josiah was the one half of the pioneering DJ duo JazziDisciples alongside Mr JazziQ,[3] however the duo split in 2018 to focus on their individual music careers.[4][5]
After parting ways with his then JazziDisciples teammate, he released his most anticipated studio album titled "Spirits of Makoela, Vol. 2: The Reintroduction", the album was confirmed to be released after Mr JazziQ's album "Party with the English", which resulted in comparison between the record producers projects.[6]
His single "Mama" with Boohle from their collaborative album "Umbuso Wabam'nyama"[7] was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).[8]
