The Journal of LGBT Youth (formerly known as Journal of Gay & Lesbian Issues in Education) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers within the scope of gender studies. It was established in 2008 and is published 4 times a year by Taylor & Francis. Current editors are James T. Sears (independent scholar, USA) and Kristopher Wells (Canada Research Chair, MacEwan University, Canada).

The journal is committed to advancing knowledge about, and support of, LGBT youth. Its topics include formal and non-formal education; family; peer culture; the media, arts, and entertainment industry; religious institutions and youth organizations; health care; and the workplace.[1]
