Jubaland Darawiish
The Jubaland Darawiish Force forms part of the police and security unit of Jubaland, an autonomous federated state in southern Somalia. The Jubaland Darawiish started operating under the auspices of Ahmed Maxamad Islam. The head of the Jubaland Darawiish is Mahad Islaam. One of its primary bases is located in Afmadow.[1] Jubaland president Islam has said that the force aims to counter people seeking to sow discord within the federal state of Jubaland.[2] The Jubaland president has also visited the city of Jamaame, enjoining the local Jubalad Darawiish to safeguard the city from terrorists.[3]
