Juhani Wahlsten

Juhani "Juuso" Wahlsten (13 January 1938 Helsinki, Finland – 9 June 2019 Turku, Finland[1]) was a Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-sarja. He played for KalPa, Ilves, HJK, and TPS. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986.

Wahlsten is considered to be the "Father of Ringette" in Finland.[2] The Juuso Wahlsten trophy is awarded during the World Ringette Championships to the World Ringette Junior Champions.
