Canadian singer Justin Bieber has released six studio albums, four compilation albums, three remix albums, two extended plays, 62 singles (including 17 as a featured artist), and seven promotional singles. Bieber has scored 8 number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as scoring 8 number-one albums on the Billboard 200 charts.[1] According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), he has sold 21.5 million albums and 105.5 million digital singles units[2] in the United States. Bieber was named the "7th Artist of the Decade" of the 2010s[3] and places 55th on the Greatest of All Time Artists chart by Billboard.[4]

At the age of 13, Bieber was discovered by his record executive and his current manager, Scooter Braun, on YouTube by accident and was eventually signed by American singer-songwriter Usher to RBMG Records.[5] Bieber's debut single, "One Time", peaked at number 12 in Canada and reached the top 20 in several other countries.[5][6] Bieber's debut extended play (EP) My World was released in November 2009; it debuted at number one in Canada and reached the top five in several other countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States.[7][8][9] The EP also produced the follow-up single "One Less Lonely Girl", as well as the promotional singles "Favorite Girl" and "Love Me".

Bieber's debut studio album, My World 2.0, was released on March 19, 2010. The album was a commercial success, topping the charts in countries such as Australia, Canada, and the United States.[7][9][10] My World 2.0 received multi-Platinum certifications from Music Canada (MC) and the RIAA.[11][12] The album was preceded by the release of its lead single, "Baby", which features Ludacris; the song reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100.[6][13][14] It was followed by the singles "Somebody to Love" and "U Smile".

On February 14, 2011, Bieber released the remix album Never Say Never: The Remixes, which topped the charts in Canada and the United States.[7][9] Its lead single, "Never Say Never", which features Jaden, also hit number eight on the Hot 100. His second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, was released in November 2011, topping the charts in Canada and the United States.[7][9] Its single "Mistletoe" reached the top ten in Canada and Denmark.

Bieber's third studio album, Believe, followed on June 15, 2012. It topped the charts in sixteen countries and was certified two times Platinum by Music Canada.[11] The album's lead single, "Boyfriend", reached the number one spot in Canada and peaked at number two in the US.[6][14] Believe also produced the top-ten singles "As Long as You Love Me", which features Big Sean, and "Beauty and a Beat", which features Nicki Minaj; the songs reached number six and number five on the Hot 100, respectively. Believe Acoustic was released in January 2013, becoming Bieber's fifth number-one album in Canada and the United States.[7][9]

Bieber's collaboration with Jack Ü, "Where Are Ü Now", reached number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100, which gave him his sixth chart-topping single on the chart. While the song is an official single, it was added as a promotional single on his fourth studio album, Purpose. On November 13, 2015, Bieber released Purpose, which debuted atop the US Billboard 200 albums chart with his best first-week sales, selling 522,000 copies and moving a total of 649,000 equivalent album units.[15] Its singles, "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", and "Love Yourself", all topped the charts in Canada, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The songs gave Bieber his respective first, second, and third chart-topping songs on the Hot 100. "Company" was released as a single in 2016 and was also successful even though it reached number 53 on the Hot 100. Bieber also signed to Def Jam Recordings for his main label and the album and its singles became his first releases as part of the label.

In 2017, Bieber's collaboration with BloodPop, "Friends", debuted and peaked at number 20 on the Hot 100. In 2019, collaboration with Ed Sheeran on "I Don't Care", debuted and peaked at number two on the Hot 100. That same year, his collaboration with Dan + Shay on "10,000 Hours", reached number four on the Hot 100.

Bieber's fifth studio album, Changes, was released on February 14, 2020. It debuted atop the US Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 126,000 pure copies and moving a total of 231,000 equivalent album units.[16] The album features two top 5 singles: "Yummy" and "Intentions", the latter of which features Quavo; the songs debuted and peaked at number two and reached number five on the Hot 100, respectively. Single "Forever", which features Post Malone and Clever, also cracked the top 30. The album did not produce any songs that reached the top of the chart. That same year, Bieber's collaboration with Ariana Grande, "Stuck with U", debuted and peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100, which gave him his sixth chart-topping single on the chart. His collaboration with Shawn Mendes, "Monster", debuted and peaked at number eight on the Hot 100.

Bieber's sixth studio album, Justice, was released on March 19, 2021. It debuted atop the US Billboard 200 albums chart, moving a total of 154,000 album-equivalent units, making it Bieber's eighth US number-one album.[17] The album includes the Billboard Hot 100 number-one single "Peaches", which features Daniel Caesar and Giveon; the song gave Bieber his seventh chart-topping song on the Hot 100. It also includes top-ten singles, "Holy", and "Anyone", the former of which features Chance the Rapper; the songs debuted and peaked at number three and number eight on the Hot 100, respectively. It also includes successful singles "Lonely", "Hold On", and "Ghost", the former of which is a collaboration with Benny Blanco; the songs debuted and peaked at number 12, reached number 20, and reached number 32, respectively. Both Justice and "Peaches" debuted and peaked atop their respective charts, which made Bieber the third artist to debut atop both charts simultaneously. That same year, Bieber's collaboration with the Kid Laroi, "Stay", became his eighth number-one single on the Hot 100.[18]

Bieber has also been featured on several singles that have performed well on the Hot 100. In 2016, he was featured alongside on Major Lazer's single, "Cold Water", which debuted and peaked at number two on the Hot 100. That same year, he appeared on DJ Snake's single, "Let Me Love You", which peaked at number four on the Hot 100. In 2017, Bieber joined Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on the remix to their single, "Despacito", which gave him his fourth chart-topping song overall and first as a featured artist. That same year, Bieber was featured alongside Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne on DJ Khaled's single, "I'm the One", which also topped the chart and gave him his fifth chart-topping song overall and second as a featured artist. In 2018, Bieber reunited with the same artists on "I'm the One" with the exception of Lil Wayne on Khaled's single, "No Brainer", which also charted well by debuting and peaking at number five on the Hot 100. In 2021, Bieber joined Wizkid on another version of the latter's single, "Essence", alongside Tems, who is also featured on the original song, which reached number nine on the Hot 100.
