Justin Hilliard (born March 25, 1997) is an American football linebacker for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the 49ers after the 2021 NFL Draft.[1]

College career[]

Hilliard was ranked as a five–star recruit and one of the best linebackers in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com coming out of high school.[2] He committed to Ohio State on July 2, 2014.[3] He requested and was approved for a sixth year of eligibility before the 2020 season.[4]

Professional career[]

San Francisco 49ers[]

Hilliard was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers on May 13, 2021.[5] He was waived on August 31, 2021.[6]

New York Giants[]

On September 1, 2021, Hilliard was claimed off waivers by the New York Giants.[7] He was placed on injured reserve on October 15, 2021.
