KTNL-TV, virtual and VHF digital channel 7, is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Sitka, Alaska, United States. Owned by Denali Media Holdings (a subsidiary of local cable provider GCI), it is sister to low-power NBC affiliate KSCT-LP (analog channel 5), which is a translator of KATH-LD (channel 5) in Juneau. KTNL-TV's transmitter is located in downtown Sitka.
KTNL-TV also operates a full-time satellite station: KUBD (channel 13) in Ketchikan. Former Juneau-based low-power KXLJ-LD (channel 24) was surrendered to the FCC on September 28, 2021.
In 2014, Ketchikan Television sold KTNL-TV, KUBD and KXLJ-LD to Denali Media Holdings.[3]
At the time it launched in 1966, it was Sitka's second television station behind now-defunct cable NBC affiliate KSA-TV.
