Simone Francesca Emmanuelle "Frankie" Cuneta Pangilinan (born December 16, 2000), also known by her stage name Kakie, is a Filipina singer-songwriter.[2]
Biography[]
Pangilinan was born to singer-actress Sharon Cuneta and Francis Pangilinan, who would later be elected as senator the following year.[3] She has a half-sister on her mother's side, actress KC Concepcion, who is fifteen years her senior.[4] Pangilinan has a younger sister, Miel (born 2004), and an adopted stepbrother, Miguel.[5]
Her maternal grandfather is former Pasay mayor Pablo Cuneta (1910–2000), the longest-serving mayor in Philippine history, who died about three months before she was born, while her maternal great-aunt is actress and singer Helen Gamboa.[6]
Pangilinan's paternal uncle is singer-songwriter Gary Valenciano, who is married to her father's sister, talent manager Angeli Pangilinan, and her paternal aunt is actress Maricel Laxa, who is married to her uncle, businessman and television anchor Anthony Pangilinan, which makes actor Donny Pangilinan her cousin.
She attended high school at the Beacon Academy in Biñan and is currently taking a college course on literature and anthropology in The New School.[7][8]
