Kallol Mukherjee (Born (1978-01-04)January 4, 1978) is an wildlife phototgrapher based in Singur, West Bengal, India. He has won several wildlife photography awards on a national and international level.[1][2]

Life and career[]

Kallol, born and brought up in the serenity of a countryside home in Singur, West Bengal. He complete graduation from Calcutta University, in 1998. He started photography almost in 2010 by shooting photos of birds in his backyard.[3] He is also Nikon India's brand Influencer[4]

Publications[]

His works got published in various print media and magazines like BBC,[5] Forbes,[6] The Guardian,[7] and newspapers on a regular basis. One of his well -known discovery is of Altai Falcon (altaicus), Saker an endangered and first sighting bird, found and clicked in Buxa Tiger Reserve, West Bengal, India.[8][9] One of his photo series titled "FANCY RHINO" is favorite of many.[10][11][12][13] His many images got published as cover of Indian wildlife magazines like Indian Birds,[14] Sanctuary Asia also as contribution in Saving India's wilderness, BBC Wildlife Magazine, July 2020 edition, WWF India's calendar etc.
