Kamdev Singh

Kamdev Singh (also spelt as Kamdeo Singh) was a gangster, smuggler and mafia strongman from Nayagaon village of Begusarai district . He was an anti-communist and for the locals of his hometown, he has been called a "Robin Hood" and "God". He was alleged to kill 34 AISF members in a year.

He was born to a poor farmer family in chakwar bhumihar clan. He was smallest among his four brothers.  He was killed in encounter with CRPF in 1980. After his death begusarai turned out to be a bastion for CPI. A year later is death, treaty happened between his nephew and Surya Narayan singh , incumbent MP from balia during 1981 to end  communist vs congress era in begusarai. That treaty led to end of bloodsheed era in begusarai [1]






[2][3][4] Kamdev Singh was hired by various politicians for booth capturing.[5][6] His son is Rajkumar Singh.[7]
