Kandovan District

Not to be confused with Kandovan Rural District.
Kandovan District (Persian: بخش کندوان) is a district (bakhsh) in Meyaneh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 24,820 in 5,875 families.[1] The District has one city: Tark. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Garmeh-ye Shomali Rural District, Kandovan Rural District, and Tirchai Rural District.
