Karju (Persian: كرجو, also Romanized as Karjū; also known as Qaraju)[1] is a village in Abidar Rural District, in the Central District of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,172, in 476 families.[2] The village is populated by Kurds.[3]
