Karl Muru
Karl Muru (1 January 1927 Pikkjärve, Kaarepere Parish, Tartu County – 30 May 2017) was an Estonian literary scholar and literary critic.[1]
In 1958 he graduated from Tartu University. Since 1958 he taught at Tartu University (since 1978 professor).[1]
His major work was Estonian poetry anthology "Sõnarine".[1]
In 2002, he was awarded with Order of the White Star, IV class.[2]
