Karma Kāṇḍa (Sanskrit: कर्मकाण्ड) refers to rites and observances performed by Brahmins in exchange for Dakshina. Karma Kanda is also a Kanda or a "section" of the Vedas that involves the performance of ceremonial acts and sacrificial rites for material benefits or for liberation. [1]
