Kate Peterson is an Australian cricketer who plays for Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).[1] An all-rounder, she bowls right-arm fast-medium and bats right-handed.[2] She joined Thunder on 3 September 2019 ahead of the 2019–20 WBBL season, but had to wait until the following season to make her debut, which came against Perth Scorchers on 4 November 2020. She did not bat or bowl as Thunder won by 24 runs, and this was her only match for the team that season.[3][4][5] On 18 May 2021, it was announced that she had joined the South Australian Scorpions ahead of the 2021–22 Women's National Cricket League season.[6]
