Keith Marzullo is the inventor of Marzullo's algorithm, which is part of the basis of the Network Time Protocol and the . On August 1, 2016 he became the Dean of the University of Maryland College of Information Studies[2] after serving as the Director of the NITRD National Coordination Office.[3] Prior to this he was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of California, San Diego. In 2011 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery.[4]
