Kenji Kitahara (北原 健二, Kitahara Kenji, born May 10, 1976) is a former Japanese football player.

Playing career[]

Kitahara was born in Ina on May 10, 1976. After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University, he joined newly was promoted to J2 League club, Omiya Ardija in 1999. He played several matches as substitute midfielder in early 1999. However he could not play at all in the match in late 1999. In 2000, he moved to newly was promoted to J2 club, Mito HollyHock. He played several matches as substitute midfielder in early 2000. However he could hardly play in the match from the middle of 2000. In 2001, he moved to club Gunma FC Horikoshi. The club was promoted to Regional Leagues from 2002 and Japan Football League from 2004. He retired end of 2004 season.
