The Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre[9] (KMCC) is a global organisation , charity organizations[10] and volunteers association of Muslims from the Indian state of Kerala. It was formed in 1981. It is an official organisation of All India Muslim League(AIML)under Umar Bafakhy Thangal. Later it merged with Indian Union Muslim League (IUML)

Organization[]

Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre - KMCC is an expatriate organization. It works in the interests of expatriates from all over India and organizes humanitarian activities.

History[]

Two organizations that were active under the separate names of Chandrika Readers’ Forum and Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre eventually became one with the merger of the parent organizations and adopted a common name and path. From there on Dubai KMCC has promoted the welfare of expatriate Indians through relief activities, C.H. centers, social services such as the construction of houses for the needy, medical aid, educational assistance, and disaster relief.

KMCC Delhi[]

KMCC Delhi is a wing organization with various programs from Admission Help Desk to Scholarships and Student Hostels for Both Girls and Boys studying in various universities in Delhi. It organizes various intellectual programs, talks, and lectures on various occasions. Some of them are annual Lectures including Shihab Thangal Memorial Lectures and E. Ahamed Memorial Lectures. In 2018, Shihab Thangal Memorial Lecture was delivered by Dr. ANSARI, Member of Parliament and former Union Minister.[11]

KMCC Delhi was formed under the patronage of the late E. Ahamed, former Union Minister and President of Indian Union Muslim League. Currently, KMCC Delhi is led by Supreme Court advocate Haris Beeran as President.[citation needed]

KMCC Dubai[]

Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre Dubai wing[12] is the largest of its kind in UAE, conducting many humanitarian programs such as an insurance scheme for its registered members, Indian passport and council services , free medical and legal consultation camp once in every month, as well as cultural and religious programs. Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre Dubai opened a help desk to collect the documents of Indian ex-pats wishing to seek amnesty recently.[13]

In addition, it also aim to encourage the participation of Malayalis in social and humanitarian efforts in local communities.
