Key Art Awards

The Key Art Awards are an annual collection of honours given for outstanding achievement in art and other promotional materials advertising movies. The awards were sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter until 2011, when they were incorporated into the Clio Awards for advertising.[1][2]

History[]

The Awards were established in 1972 by Tichi Wilkerson Kassel, at a gathering in his home. They were later supported by .[3]

Since 2002 ,the resources associated with the Awards have been held by UCLA Film and Television Archive.[4]

In 2005, industry professionals voted The Silence of the Lambs poster and The Shining trailer as the best of the past 35 years.[3]

In 2011, a new award trophy was created in the form of moveable golden searchlight by New York firm Society Awards.
