Khadka (Nepali: खड्का), anciently called as Khaḍgā (Hindi: खड्गा), is a surname of Khas community who took the (Khas -Chhetri) community.[1]: 22  Khadga was an ancient Paikelā (warrior) rank along with Thāpā, Rānā and Buḍhā.[1]: 89
