Kids Diana Show (stylized as ✿ Kids Diana Show) (born 1 April, 2014) is a Ukrainian YouTube channel featuring a girl named Diana. She (with the help of her parents Elena and Vlad) runs several YouTube channels that focus on the playtime adventures of her and her brother Roma. As of May 7, 2021, Kids Diana Show is the most-subscribed YouTube channel from Ukraine, and the 2nd largest YouTube channel made for kids.[3] They are also the 5th most-subscribed channel in the world, and the 6th most-viewed channel in the world.[4]

Content[]

Kids Diana Show’s videos (first posted in 2015) include children’s songs, toy unboxings, vlogging, educational content and pretend play. Diana’s older brother, Roma (b. 2012) also has a YouTube channel titled ⭑Kids Roma Show. Her videos feature minimal dialogue, instead relying mostly on expressive faces and costumes to tell stories. Kids Diana Show is also[clarification needed] dubbed into other languages such as Hindi, Japanese, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.[5] The music featured is always from Epidemic Sound. Kids Diana Show and Kids Roma Show channels are part of the Ukrainian network "AIR".

Diana was nominated for the 2020 tenth annual Streamy Awards in the Kids and Family category [6] and the 2021 Short Awards in the Parenting, Family and Kids category.[7]

History[]

Elena and Vlad, the parents of Diana, say they started making YouTube videos as a hobby when Diana’s brother, Roma, was born. In 2015, Elena launched a YouTube channel as a memory preservation hub to share videos of Diana with friends and family.[8] The channel quickly grew, hitting 1M subscribers in just over a year. In 2017, both parents left their jobs to focus full-time on the YouTube channel.

In May 2020, Diana's parents signed a deal with Pocket.Watch,[9] a startup children's media company that was founded in 2016 by Chris Williams and Albie Hecht.[10] Pocket.Watch has developed (and is continuing to create) an animated series,[11] mobile game,[12] and merchandise[13] for Diana in Love, Diana.

The new Love, Diana animated show are hybrid live-action and animated short stories that take Diana and Roma to the Land of Play, where they are tasked with protecting friends and family from the Baron of Boredom. The show is distributed on YouTube as well as OTT services including Amazon Prime video, The Roku Channel and Samsung TV+.[14]
