Kiell Smith-Bynoe is a British actor most notable for playing one of the leads in the BBC One sitcom Ghosts,[1] and also for his appearances in the Channel 4 sitcom Stath Lets Flats,[2] Man Like Mobeen,[3] and Enterprice.[4] In 2020 he also joined the cast of the BBC one crime show Death in Paradise[5]
One of his early acting roles was in 2012 in the YouTube web series Diary Of a Bad Man as a gangster called Klayze.[6]
His first professional role was in 2012 in crime drama Whitechapel. Previously, he was known for the novelty grime hit "Junior Spesh" under the name MC Klayze Flaymz.[7]
He trained in Joan Littlewood improvisation style as part of the junior group at Theatre Royal Stratford East and similarly as an adult at the East 15 Acting School[8] he is still part of improv comedy troupes including "BATTLEACTS!"[9] with whom he performed at festivals including the Edinburgh Festival.[10]
He appeared on the 2021 BBC Christmas Great British Sewing Bee.
