Kimie Hatano

Kimie Hatano (Japanese: 畑野君枝, Hepburn: Hatano Kimie, born 28 January 1957, in Kawasaki, Kanagawa[1]) is a member of the Japanese Communist Party serving in the House of Representatives.[2] She represents the 10th District of Kanagawa prefecture.

Hatano is opposed to the Technical Intern Training Program, saying that the workers in the program are being subordinated.[3] She is also opposed to the Trans-Pacific Partnership.[4] Hatano supports having more classes available in the evenings at junior high schools[5] and is opposed to stopping state grants to national universities, saying that tuition would increase dramatically.[6]
