Fib is a mythological Pictish prince mentioned in the Pictish Chronicle. He was said to have been king of the Fib Kingdom (modern-day Fife), and to have ruled it for 24 years along with his brothers, Cat, Fidach, Cé, Fótla, Circinn and Fortriu. Fib was the son of Cruithne, king of all of the Picts who supposedly ruled for 100 years.[1] Fib's rule may of been 715-691 BCE according to the Pictish Chronicles "Fibaid xxiiij", which translates as Fib having ruled for 24 years.[2][unreliable source?] The chronicles also state that the brothers ruled one after the other.
