Dr. Kishore Shallow is a cricket administrator from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He is currently the Vice President of Cricket West Indies, President of Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control, and Former President of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association.

In March 2019, Shallow ran a successful campaign for Vice President of Cricket West Indies,[1] along with his running mate, Ricky Skerritt, who was elected as President.[2] Few months later, Shallow was also elected as President of Windward Islands Cricket Board.[3] Shallow was chair of the CWI selection task force [4] that produced the first ever official selection policy. [5]

Dr. Shallow and Ricky Skerritt were re-elected unopposed at the end of their first tenure. [6] Their campaign for a second successive term at the helm of Cricket West Indies was based on an upgraded Cricket First Plus plan. [7]

Personal life[]

Shallow was born on 23 January 1984 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He has a doctorate from Walden University, a master's degree from University of Wales, Institute of Cardiff, and a bachelor's degree from University of Sunderland.

SVGCA Presidency[]

Dr. Shallow's six-year tenure as President of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association (SVGCA) ended in December 2020.[8] Under his tenure, SVGCA won National Sports Association of the Year twice.[9] He was recognized for his sterling contribution to SVG cricket as president.[10] Some of the accomplishments of the national cricket association under Shallow's leadership were (1) introduction of a national cricket academy;[11] (2) established commercial arm for the organization, making the organization financially sustainable; (3) construction of two cricket facilities;[12][13] and (4) hosting of the first recognized cricket tournament during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vincy Premier League T10.[14] Dr. Shallow led governance reform with the introduction of term-limit for the presidency for the SVG Cricket Association,[15] the only cricket association in the West Indies with such policy. Following the three 2-year terms (2014 - 2020), Romel Currency was elected as Dr. Shallow's replacement.[16]

In 2019, Dr. Shallow was named National Sporting Ambassador. The announcement came in the Independence Address of Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on October 27, 2019.[17]
