Klara Myrén (born 25 May 1991)[1] is a Swedish women's ice hockey player that competed in ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics. In autumn 2011, she joined the Vermont Catamounts of the NCAA.[2]

Playing career[]

Myrén played with Leksands IF of the Swedish Elite League, Riksserien, during the 2010–11 season. Statistically, she registered 11 goals and 13 assists in 21 games.

Team Sweden[]

Myrén was a member of the Swedish Under 18 team from 2006 to 2009. As a member, she participated in the 2008 and 2009 IIHF Under 18 Women's world championships. At the tournament in Fusssen, Germany, she claimed the bronze medal. In addition, she took part in the 2008 and 2009 senior Women's World Hockey Championships. Myrén failed to medal in those tournaments, finishing fifth and fourth, respectively. Of note, she was the youngest member of Sweden's team that participated in ice hockey at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. During the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, she accumulated two assists in five games played, as Sweden finished in fourth place.
