Klaus Kandaouroff (1929/30 – 29 May 2010 in Datteln) better known by his nickname "Hühner-Klaus"[1] (Eng.: Chicken-Klaus), was a German businessman, self-made millionaire and philanthropist. He was owner of several egg, venison and poultry wholesalers. He also operated a luxury hotel and several restaurants. On Saturday evening, 29 May 2010, he was assassinated in front of his villa by unknown attackers. He was 80 and is survived by his wife and three children.[2][3]
